The MGA Board is an elected body consisting of nine members. Each member of the board is elected to a three-year term. Every year, three of the members' positions are open to election. To be elected to the board, you must be an MGA member in good standing. Elections for the expiring positions are held near the end of each calendar year. Board meetings are held at 7:00PM on the first Wednesday of each month at the course facilities. Meetings are open to the membership. Responsibilities of the Board include assisting the Pros with tournaments and Men's night during the summer, and acting as a liaison between the MGA members and the Pros. MGA dues are kept in an account and managed by the Board. These dues are then appropriated for MGA activities including tournament prizes and related expenses. |
